Over the last two years, I have been hard at work, diving deep and exploring my creative capacities to build this series. It has grown and evolved into something that I did not expect when I started. On December 14, 2017, I officially launched The Belief Books into the world! That night I threw a party in Indianapolis to celebrate!
I rented the lounge of a local club, The Red Room, just north of downtown Indianapolis. We had the place to ourselves for the night and even had our own bartender! I hand picked every song on a playlist to play throughout the night. And I set up a free raffle to give away the first batch of t-shirts as well as some drinks!
My first appearance on another show was with The Podcaster’s Life with Alexander Laurin on December 12, 2017. It’s a great show, really well done, and a really informative and insightful podcast for podcasters like me!
Dori is an environmental planner, climate activist, and educator. She works with non-profits, governments, universities, and faith communities to promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, eco-justice, and waste reduction and reuse.
She is the statewide coordinator and group leader with Citizens’ Climate Lobby, an organization working to create the political will for a livable world by passing Climate Change Legislation, and a board member with Hoosier Interfaith Power & Light. She also works with students at Butler University in Indiana.
My first guest, Peter Sinclair, has a ton of experience with the topic of climate change and debating deniers. He is an award winning, independent, climate educator, videographer, graphic artist, and has been an active voice for climate change for many years.
In this episode, Peter lays down a solid foundation on the topic of climate change and denial for chapter one. I chime in here and there but for the most part, I let him do the talking. And there’s a lot to be said, but he says a lot in just under one hour!
