Fergus Baumann is the Founder of a New York based environmental activist group called Climo that formed in 2017.
Its current mission is to raise money for a revolutionary technology using Solar Thermal Electrochemical Process (STEP) to convert atmospheric CO2 into usable carbon nanofibers.
According to Licht’s team, “We calculate that with a physical area less than 10 percent the size of the Sahara Desert, our process could remove enough CO2 to decrease atmospheric levels to those of the pre-industrial revolution within 10 years.”
This technology truly is incredible. It’s revolutionary! Climo’s overall strategy for supporting this STEP tech so smart and the idea of “Contact Weeks” is something I think many organizations could adopt.
