Over the last two years, I have been hard at work, diving deep and exploring my creative capacities to build this series. It has grown and evolved into something that I did not expect when I started. On December 14, 2017, I officially launched The Belief Books into the world! That night I threw a party in Indianapolis to celebrate!
I rented the lounge of a local club, The Red Room, just north of downtown Indianapolis. We had the place to ourselves for the night and even had our own bartender! I hand picked every song on a playlist to play throughout the night. And I set up a free raffle to give away the first batch of t-shirts as well as some drinks!
The best giveaway item, in my opinion, was an episode. Actually, two episodes. Not one, but two of the guests at the launch party will now be future guests for The Belief Books and will have their own episode!
I want to say a huge thank you to my family, friends and new friends who came to support me. You made the night wonderful and unforgettable! It also pleases me to say there was a significant amount of networking that happened at the party. This was surprising at first, but it makes sense that the people who attended have very similar interests.
Here are some of the wonderful photos Ben Stout captured that night. (Click any image below to see full resolution.)
I believe that this series has great potential, in many ways. It’s extremely encouraging that so many people already believe in the idea as much as I do so early on.
This is only the beginning. There is so much to talk about and conversations to be had. There will be many more parties and celebrations in the future!
